Maureen FitzSimons' early achievements in performing arts (now called Maureen O'Hara), would be considered, according to American standards, in the category of child prodigy. But for a person with Irish heritage surrounded by gifted parents and family members, these were very natural traits. Maureen came to this loving refuge on the 17th of August 1920. She was raised by her parents and family members. The mother of Maureen, Marguerita Lulburn FitzSimons was a skilled contralto. The father of her, Charles FitzSimons, managed an enterprise in Dublin as well as owned a part of the famous Irish football team "The Shamrock Rovers." Maureen FitzSimons' is the 2nd FitzSimons kid. Peggy FitzSimons Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons James O'Hara made up this family. Maureen was a star athlete and was a lover of rough play. She combined this interest with an equally natural gift for performing. This is why she received almost all of the Feis Awards for dramatic and acting within her own country. When she was in her 14th year, she joined an organization called the Abbey Theater to follow her goal of studying operatic and classical vocals.
