Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's sons was born in Woodland Hills in the year 1956. Her father taught in the school system while her mother was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. McCormick always enjoyed performing, dancing and performing show puppets. Her rise to fame as a fairytale began when she took home the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was six, which prompted being contacted by talent agent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency and asked her if she'd like to be in show business. McCormick was commissioned to perform in her first major role in 1964 in a tv commercial for Mattels latest doll Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial with the company's Chatty Cathy doll and was soon cast in the play Wind It Up And It is Broken on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from 1200 kids to be the youngest of three twin daughters in The Brady Bunch TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published in 2008, McCormick told of how in the 5th season of the television show, she nearly lost her virginity with her sister Barry Williams. He was 19. She was 16. The incident would have happened as she describes. But, the time for our marriage wasn't right.
